Pics from my trip to Arizona

We went to Arizona for my Grandpa's wedding last month. He is 91 and married a woman who is 87. Very cute! Anyway, we had a great time and I managed to take a few pictures while I was there. These are probably not super exciting to most of you, but I'd never seen cactus before so I was totally thrilled.

This cactus was so cool. The birds had built nests in the cavities.

I am always totally amazed by cacti! I just love all the shapes and forms they produce! I've vacationed in Aruba and the cacti there are magnificent.....though I'll bet nothing like Arizona's!

Congratulations on your Grandfather's marriage! It certainly is nice to see love grow, isn't it?

The orange tree was on the grounds at my Grandpa's assisted living place in Sun City West. The cacti were taken from around the area. They grow there like pine trees grow here.

Your pictures turned out great! I was really amazed to see orange trees growing on the side of the road. Where is the picture I took of you in front of the cactus? It was really fun to see the cactus growing wild everywhere!

Noodles: The picture you took of me in front of the cactus was . The cactus was beautiful but I have rolls in all the wrong places! Not to mention the worst hair-do a girl could ever have! I can't wait till it grows out. Anyway, not a chance I was posting it.

Saguaros! There's nothing like them. The Arizona State Flower to boot! (I know too many state flowers these days!) I've never seen one in bloom, but it must be a sight! The cacti alone are inspiring........

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Arizona and your grandfather's wedding. It's one of my favorite places to visit.....
