The one that could mostly be considered "native" is not exactly appealing and something NO Icelandic people today eat (well apart from 1 day a year as a tradition). It consists of rotten shark, sour sheep testicles (and no, I´m not kidding), sour whale fat, roasted sheep head...o.k. I´m sure you get the picture. Let´s stop now!![]()

Our modern cuisine is wonderful and consists mainly of seafood and lamb. I highly recommend it!![]()
