We were there the night before and finished up on the observation deck during Wishes. Enjoy the daytime perspective of your pictures. Wish I had gotten a picture of the new pool. All of the glass related to the slide was lighted with multiple colors, but never could get a good enough perspective for a decent picture.

Can anyone tell me how long (approximately) the event is?

We were going to register for one of them at the end of July and were thinking of doing the 7:00 one, but we have the Wishes dessert party @ 9:00 and don't want to cut it too close.

I just registered a few minutes ago for Wed. July 22.
When you complete registration, you're told that the event lasts "approx. two hours".

When you show up they will give you a small DVC bag with a card in it, fill it out give it to the CM before you go into the event. My DW and I both received a bag, doubles your chance, and at the end of the event they draw 1 winner. I know in the our event and the one before the winner received a Free 7 day vacation from the DVC Passport collection not bad for 2 hours of your time plus the tour of BLT....Shawn

Glenn, you were there too??? Great picture. When we saw the pool it was not at a convenient opportunity to photo it and I never got another chance although I kept looking.

For those asking, yes two hours and it was all of it but well worth it, at least to us. For those interested, the incentives to add on at BLT were very good.

Hey Marvin! Here's one I got....

Thanks for posting the photo of the pool.

3 things I really like about the pool...
1) Fusion of palm tress with the modern design.
2) Mickey logos in several places adds that extra touch for us Disney addicts. Every time I see that pool at night, my eyes are drawn right to the Mickey heads.
3) Lake view from the top of the water slide.

That is what we were told.

There is also beach volleyball available at the Contemporary and my understanding is that this is available to guests staying at BLT.
