Picnic Tables Near Trail's End

We are planning on getting the GAG meal and then attending the campfire movie. I would like to know if there are picnic tables near Trail's end where we could enjoy our meal outside? We are not camping at the fort this trip.

Yes there are tables on the side porch facing the kids playground and the beach/boat docks/marina beyond.



I think the counters beside the cash register at TE takeout have plastic KFS, napkins, etc but they keep the "chinette" style disposable plates behind the cash register. Just ask the CM ringing up your food to give you the number you need.

Have a great meal and movie experience! Sounds like a plan.

There are also several smaller tables and chairs down by the marina rental building if the picnic tables are full.

Thanks so much for the help. It has been a long time since we camped at the fort. We got out of camping about 6 years ago, but recently bought a fifth wheel because we missed camping. We are DVC members and used all our points on a cruise this year, but have two 8-10 day trips planned for the fort next year. I see that you are in Birmingham. We live near Oxford. Once again, thanks for the information.

There's tables at the Meadows around the pool too if you want to grab your meal and head over there to eat before the movie. I'm sure the tables at the marina will be available for you, look to the right of the rental building, those are almost always empty unless people grab the chairs for the fireworks.
