Do they still do this at AK, if so is it counted as a CS credit on dining plan??

It's been discontinued. No word on when or if it's coming back!

Aww! I thought I had read something somewhere that they still offer it, just as a grab and go at Beastly Bazaar. Is this not true anymore either? I loved having this option to fall back on. We really enjoyed it! Sad if it's no longer offered

Hi John! The Picnic in the Park at Animal Kingdom had a lot of fans, but last year Disney announced that it would be offered only seasonally. For a brief time last spring, the Picnic in the Park was available, but after that it switched to a "Grab and Go" at the Beastly Bazaar shop in Animal Kingdom. At the Beastly Bazaar, guests may purchase a picnic for a group of 2, 4, or 6 people, consisting of a non-alcoholic beverage, a choice of sandwich, chips, and dessert. The sandwich choices include Turkey Focaccia; Ham and Salami on Ciabatta; Tuna on Pita; Vegetarian Wrap; and Chicken Caesar Wrap.

We haven't received any information about the pre-ordered Picnic in the Park with the hot chicken and ham entrees returning again this spring, but I know many folks will be happy if it does. If we hear any news on it coming back, we'll be sure to let you know.

I would like more info on this. From what I recall, child's credits could not be used for PIP, but you also cannot order more adult meals than is listed on your KTTW card. So, how are you supposed to get enough food for the kiddos, too? Are the rules for this new "Grab and Go" different?
