Picky eaters!

One trip many years ago, my now 23 year old ate chicken tenders at every.single.meal. We did a lot of buffets so he did get some fruits too but lots of chicken and fries. It was totally fine and it was a good trip. I encouraged him to try things we ordered but no stressing at all. She really will be fine. That same child is now the one that always wants the deluxe plan so he can try new things!

I can empathize. DS10 is picky. He won't eat the pizza at most places due to disliking sauce.

Too bad our trips don't overlap, we could get my DS10 and your DS10 together for cheese pizza no sauce! I will looking for any options to do that at WDW (more likely TS, not QS).

We have thought about Via Napoli, because I think we could get them to do cheese pizza no sauce, aka cheesy bread. We haven't actually tried it though. Luckily, DS loves a plain steak, chicken nuggets, burgers, and Kraft-style mac n cheese. He doesn't really like french fries though:confused3

My daughter is a somewhat picky eatet. She prefers pasta with no sauce, plain rice, no sandwiches of any kind. However, DH and I have nevet allowed her tastes to dictate where or what the rest of us eat. If she's hungry, she'll find something to eat wherever we are. You should plan you're very expensive vacation according to the restaurants you want to try not to accomodate your 6 year old child.

That may be a little easier said than done. Vacations, especially WDW, can be stressful on everyone, especially young kids, and can burn a lot of energy and require more food. Having a grumpy kid at WDW is the pits. So, I do under stand the OP wanting to find stuff for her kid. It's a delicate balance. Plus, if she's thin like my son, then you have people, actually perfect strangers, constantly harassing you about not feeding your child. It's a no win situation, and we are all just trying to do our best and just want a little advice and slack now and then.

Not sure how picky she is about her pizza, but just so you know it has a thick crust (you may want to google to make sure she will eat). Just saying because being from NY when we first went down my niece/nephews did not care for it at all (not an issue for me since they weren't picky and could choose something else on the menu)
Lol. They have good taste...I dont blame your niece/nephew. Disney QS pizza is terrible!

When I took my kiddo in 2014 I planned my vacation around what both of us enjoyed. It was a vacation for both of us and not time for him to feel excluded or to have a battle about food. To each their own but it was the best vacation of my life and I have no regrets about putting aside a couple of things I would love as an adult for some thing he'd love more as a kid. He's only 6 and at disney once in his life :) Some day he won't want to do Disney with mom at all rather than being sad that mom can only afford once every 2 years... so for right now I cherish his part in the vacation. I battle about food and put my foot down enough during the year as it is!

You can check a cooler as luggage, provided you tape it up and it weighs less than 50lbs. We've done that in the past and filled it with deli meats, cheese, boxed wine, cereal, crackers, etc. I don't know if you have a fridge in your room, but it always works out really well in the Villas.

"Cheese Pizza No Sauce" seekers: I love the Quattro Formaggi pizza at Via Napoli. 4 cheeses, no sauce. That and a piece of tiramisu are my Disney Comfort Food.

Thanks everyone. My daughter actually suffers from hypoglycemia so leaving her to just find something to eat is not an option. She needs to eat to regulate her blood sugar. We are making this a vacation for everyone to enjoy so that includes my picky daughter. I am glad to hear there is fresh fruit and vegetable sticks available. We may look into Garden Grocer too but I am unsure how hard it will be to shift since our hotel has a convention centre and we will not be able to get the package until the next day.

Garden Grocer delivers directly to Bell Services, unlike shipped packages that go to the Convention Center receiving area. Your order will be waiting for you for Bell Services to deliver to your room. They are even able to refrigerate perishables etc. Be sure to tip the Bell Man that delivers to your room. The service is well worth it IMHO
