I have heard how great the restaraunts are and how flexible the servers and chefs can be. After looking at menus on line however I am concerned about my dh. He is a picky eater (worse than me :) and I am afraid he will dismiss the menus as too gourmet. Will they change items on the menu? For example, my dh's idea of a salad is iceberg lettuce, carrots and cucumber. He will not eat anything he doesn't recognize. Just how far will the servers go to please a pill :rotfl: ?!?!?! Anyone have experience with this.

Please don't suggest the kids menu, he is not into chicken nuggets.

They always have a plain steak or plain chicken on each menu every night. I know you said not to suggest the kids' menu, but they have vegetables with each meal (broccoli, corn on the cob) that he could get also. They have a lot of salads he can choose from, I'm sure they could leave stuff he doesn't want to try off of the salad. He won't have trouble finding something.

When I was on the cruise I only liked one appetizer really and it was the Friend Camembert, but you can only get that at Lumiere's (Triton's.) Well every night right before we arrived for dinner, no matter which restaraunt we were in our server would go down to Lumiere's and get 2 orders of it just for me. They are pretty flexible.

I too am an extreamly picky eater and have not had a problem. It basically comes down to special orders.

For me, one example is that I always request lettuce and bacon bits and lemon wedges for a salad. The bacon bits required a bit of an effort, but the servers came throught on my requests.

I was able to usually find something that sounded go (say a baked chicken) and would just request that the "questionable" sauce not be included or substitues the vegtables from one plate to this one.

Your servers will do anything possible to please you, and then some!!! I am fussy as well (that is an understatement) and do not eat any form of potato other than a french fry, and after the first night, I never had to even mention it, they knew. My FIL also requested shrimp nightly, and although it was not always on the menu for the restaurant we were at, it appeared on the table, along with numerous other things...
