This question is probably too broad...but I'm going to go ahead and ask anyway. :)

In May, I'm taking my friend to WDW for the first time since she has been 6. I'm planning to take her to at least one nice restaurant at WDW. The problem is that sometimes she is pretty picky. She's really a meat and potatoes kinda girl...haha

Any suggestions on where to go? I've racked my brain...thought of the places I've ate, looked at menus, etc. and am having a hard time thinking of anything! I'd like to take her to a place she'd enjoy and have an easy time deciding on what to get...So I thought I'd bring the issue to the wise people here ;)

Any suggestions would be great! :) Thanks!

She'd probably be happy at any of the buffets (well, not Boma). How about Le Cellier or Rose and Crown? Simple fare. LTT at MK would be a good bet too.

Yeah, I was definitely thinking about Rose and Crown. I like Le Cellier...but I've had a few bad experiences there, like the server telling my friend that she'd have to charge her to put sugar in her water.....I'm not too thrilled to go back anytime soon..but we might have to try it again.

We'll see how it goes. I asked her what she thought, and she said she'd decide when we get there. I'm too type-A for an answer like that :bounce: :)

Thanks guys.

No potatoes, but 'Ohana's has plenty of grilled meat.

My DS(15) is the ultimate picky eater (read anything that isn't filet mignon, ribs, plain roast chicken, plain potato or caesar salad-he won't eat). He really enjoys the Yachtman Steakhouse (so do the rest of us-but for surf and turf, bourbon striploin etc.)

I, too, am extremely picky. I know this sounds silly to some but I was able to order of the kids menu (I'm 26) will no problems. :o

I would also try some of the more "standard" buffets... Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, etc. They all seem to have several meat and potato choices :D
