Brian was supposed to take his Project Manager certification exam tomorrow, but the cancelled that alredy. Needless to say, he's not very happy...it wasn't supposed to be till 1pm...you would think they could at least wait to see what it looks like in the morning before making a decision.

It would be so awesome if we really could be there at the same time! I would love it! :cool1:

Don't know what's going to happen ... Paul might not be granted time off from work due to the holiday (liquor sales are booming at the holidays). Plus we won't know his school schedule yet ... so, this is dreaming right now. But Christine and I loved being there at this time of the year, and I know the kids will too.

Well Sam was so happy this AM when I woke her up to tell her school's closed.

She and her friend had a great time playing outside today. My work was dead -- so many people didn't come in, yet the roads were not a problem at all.

Re Brian's exam - that is SO like this area to cancel something in advance!! I remember years ago when North Penn closed the schools the day before in anticipation of bad weather the next day - and then we only got around 3 inches!!

Did you all know that Texas Roadhouse has......FRIED PICKLES?!?!?!? :lmao:

I got an email from them for a valentine's special, and that was one of the appetizer specials! :rotfl2:

Long week, full of work, meetings, scouts, and cookies!! At least this weekend we only have 2 booths. I'm proud that I have not had one thin mint cookie yet ... I think the only solution for me is to go back on the south beach diet ... it was the only successful one for me. But I will start AFTER Valentines day :goodvibes

I'm over being upset with Disney - had no reason to talk with them anyway. Any trip is only a dream in my head that will not be coming true anytime soon. :rotfl2:

I don't remember Valentine's day so can't tell you if it was a good day or not. heh That was very thoughtful of Sophia to get you those strawberries. I hope you enjoyed them immensely. I had some cinnamon hearts. My fave. ♥

Tracy, no trip for sure????? Thought you were waiting until after tax returns - or has that already happened? Oh, I just hate to read that as I know how much you enjoy the summer trips. :hug:

I got the best gifts possible.....$$ to spend in Disney, AND a Mickey fleece jacket. I knew about the jacket...we saw it on clearance in K mart for $7, but I didn't get it cause I really didn't NEED it. Brian bought it anyway cause I have him well-trained not to pass up a good Disney deal! :love:

Nope, no trip for us or April. It's just one catastrophe after another for the both of us and we are pretty darn fed up with everything. We joke that if it weren't for bad luck, neither of us would have any luck at all. It is what it is. Thanks for keeping things crossed, but quite certain your efforts will be futile. :sad2:

And yes, I do love my summer trips. Sniff.
