Thanks guys. Yes it stinks and could have been worse - no job at all. Perhaps once we peel ourselves from the ceiling and the shock wears off, we can be more appreciative of that fact. Until then, it really SUCKS.

I am going on this WDW trip regardless. We are also going to visit our friends in New York for Thanksgiving. That definitely put a smile on our faces.

Just because you know it stinks doesn't make it feel any better now! Maybe in a few weeks when you can be glad there is still job, but right now...well....hang in there.

How nice you'll go visit friends for Thanksgiving! That's neat! I will be alone for Thanksgiving again this year...I always tell Mia it will be fine that I don't mind at all, but between us, it is a not a great time to be alone. I already feel so isolated here and to be alone on Thanksgivng...well...will try to find a good book (although would rather have a yummy Turkey dinner.). Mia, Michael and Sophia will go to his sister's - of course, I am invited, but they must stay over and someone needs to be with our elderly pups.

I'm sorry you stay alone for Thanksgiving. Do you have a friend that could come visit with you during that time? We'll be spending ours at my parents place. It's actually also our Christmas dinner, as they head to Florida the first week of November. It's the only turkey feed I get all year and I look forward to it. So much work though.

My life here has been isolated for over 3 yrs - no way to meet anyone - though I do have one friend. She lives about an hour away and does not drive outside of her small town to as far as we live.

The worst is that there's no way for me to volunteer. In Boston, on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter we would visit the elderly who were alone and bring them dinner, flowers and company. It was so nice! We always took little gifts a,long too, especially at Christmas.

You know how it is...this time of year one misses family.....I miss my parents...but most of all Toby.

I'm really good! Just exhausted - Sophia took a 45 mins nap at 11 this morning and we've been couped up in my room all day...she's tired, but could not fall asleep again..so she was a holy terror all day!! Knocking over the puppy's water (she usually ignores this now as it no longer holds any interest.) No interest in interacting with me or toys...quite a day!!!

As for POP...yeah, I'm a bit bummed- but only becasue I cannot afford a deluxe. During the holidays none of the mods really appeal to me and I do like POP in December. I just worry that our last 2 stays the rooms were in dire need of refurb - really crummy. That would be depressing.

BUT I've read recent reviews that the rooms have been in very good shape, and our very own pickle, Ms Janet Pickle, will be there next week and we'll get the scoop when she gets back!

I'm dreading the long walks to the bus and lines at POP - that's why I sent he Alamo specials I received!! It's worth checking!! And www.mousesavers.com always has any coupon codes listed. In the last week or so, I've read of some pretty good rates - must be changing.

Honestly, I am just tired - sweetie, we will have a MAGICAL time (and loads of fun too...I've got an itinerary all done, but don't want to send it until you are ready to plan.) A little preview of POP:

I was reading back a few pages and realized I missed an entire interesting conversation on the 13th!!

Tracy....you are going to call me as soon as you reach the US airport (if your cell phone can call within the US) and again when you arrive at MCO AND when you arrive at POP AND when you see walk to your room - I want to hear all about it!!! Except I'll be asleep at midnight as must be up at 4:30 in the morning to fly ALONE (which I've been doing for years) and see YOU!!!!! You'd better be waiting out front at POP when I arrive, Ms Pickle Queen!!

By the way, the day you arrive is Toby's birthday and we will be there or our MS Pickle Janet's birthday!! we will try to call with birthday wishes, of course!

Can't get any sleep tonight. I've missed 3/4 of House premiere - my fav show in the world so I have to watch it at midnight! I forgot it was on. Argh!
