Hello Pickles! Don't mind me... I'm just a lurker coming out of the closet! I didn't skim anything. I SWEAR IT!
But I only went back 3 pages to catch up a little bit.
I can't believe that everyone has a trip planned to WDW but me.

But I'm really excited that you are all going down there so soon. And Christine... I'm most excited for you to get a trip after all!

No more armchair traveling for you!
I have been so busy with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts the last month that I barely have time to breathe. It will settle down after Halloween... if I make it that far. We had a camping trip with my Brownies last weekend. We were staying in platform tents, and there were huge gaps (6-8 inches) between the edge of the platform and the tent. I couldn't hardly sleep for fear that something would come in! On Sat we found a 4 ft black snake coming out of the closet of our screened in dining area.

Then that night we could hear (what we hoped was) a racoon walking around in the leaves near the dining area. Let's just say my next camping trip, we will be staying in a lodge!
Avery had a terrible asthma attack over the weekend. On Friday night, she started with the cough during the night, and it went on for about 3 hours before letting up. Then on Sat, she was sleeping in her tent during quiet time, and got into her sleeping bag. I was sitting and chatting with the parents and the other leader, and the girls come running out saying "Avery can't breathe!" PANIC!! She had gotten overheated in her bag, and with the asthma flare-up, had started to hyper-ventilate. She ended up running a fever throughout the day Monday, and I had decided to take her to the Dr on Tues morning to check for pneumonia... but she woke up on Tues with no fever and feeling 100% better, so I skipped it. She is now on the mend, but still not under control.
We have had our share of drama with Tucker, too. He has been being bullied by a couple kids at school. (Big kids... at least a year older.) He was in the locker room changing after gym, and one of the kids shoved him into a locker. The other kid then locked him in. When they finally let him out, the first kid took Tucker's shoe, and acted like he was going to hit him in the face, stopping barely inches from his face, about 10-12 times. Then he threw the shoe at Tucker, and started to shove him back into the locker. Tucker had big bruises on his back and arm from where the kid grabbed him. Long story short, I told the principal that I would see how he wanted to handle the situation, but that I reserved the right to press charges if anything else happened. It would be 2 counts assault and battery (misdemeanor) and 1 count wrongful imprisonment (felony.) One kid was suspended for 5 days, and the other for 3. Well now kid #2 is trying to get back at Tucker by making him miserable, turning him in for all kinds of crap that Tucker didn't do, etc. Tucker has been called to the Principals office twice now because of false allegations. Wynn and I are so angry that we are about to request a "going to God" meeting with the principal, the kid, and his parents. Really bad thing is since we are year round, they will be in class together for the next 3 years.
Anyway... didn't mean to pop in here and then write a book! Hope you guys are still speaking to me!
