It was disgusting. And. AND! Some kid peed in the play area so they had it closed to hose it down. Ew. The kids wanted to wait until they cleaned it so they can play. Um, NO!!! Now they're mad at me.

Okay...back from Andy's teams' baseball game. Will you please EXPLAIN to me why it is the middle of July and at 6:00 at night I am wearing a sweatshirt AND a jacket to watch a baseball game. The high tomorrow is supposed to be 68 degrees. Okay, isn't that supposed to be the low. I'm telling you...hubby is going to take early retirement, we're going to pay off all the bills and we are MOVING TO FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't take it anymore.

Now, where the heck is Kari today and Heather?

I'm so with you on the moving to Florida! We've actually had fairly decent weather this summer...most days in the low 80's which is perfect for me, but I'l still move to FL anytime to get away ffrom snow and ice!

Then we have a family reunion on Sunday.

I'm taking my laptop, but I don't know if there will be internet in the hotel or not.

I hope my pickles have a great weekend, and figure out what Tracy is doing about the dining plans.

Today we're off to the Streets at Southpoint - a nice Mall closer to Kari than us...about an hour for us. Fingers crossed to find Pooh sized khaki's.

Today we're off to the Streets at Southpoint - a nice Mall closer to Kari than us...about an hour for us. Fingers crossed to find Pooh sized khaki's.

I am a good hour from that mall as well, and rarely make it to "that side of town!" The best consignment sale I know of is the Kids Exchange held at the fairgrounds in Raleigh twice a year. http://www.kidsexchange.net/ Their summer sale is next weekend. Especially for Sophia's age, it is every bit worth the drive. I can get most outfits for the winter for Avery for less than $150, and just buy a few pieces at Wal-mart to finish it up.

I'm betting he gave Wynn's typical response to any decision-required question... "I don't care. Whatever you want to do is fine." That answer drives me batty!

A young man is working in a grocery store in New York. An older man
approaches him and asks where he can find half a head of lettuce. The
young man says they don't sell half a head only the whole head of lettuce.

The older man complains that it's ridiculous, he only needs half a head.
So the young man says he will talk to the manager and see what he can
do about it.

He walks to the back office and says to the manager that there is some
idiot up front who wants to buy half a head of lettuce, he then turns to
see the older man standing right behind him listening to his conversation.
He quickly tells the manager that this is a different guy who is kind enough
to buy the other half. The manager smiles and nods. He takes care of the
customer and then comes back to talk to the stock boy.

"Hey kid you were pretty quick back there, where are you from?"

"Oh I'm from Canada."

The manager looks puzzled "So why did you move down here?"

"Oh, Canada is only full of hockey players and prostitutes."

The manager gets a little upset with this and says,
"My wife is from Canada!"

Without missing a beat the kid says, "Oh really? What team does
she play for?"
