Picking up tickets from kiosk

I understand that there are kiosks where I can pick up tickets that I've ordered as part of my vacation package. I want to do this the day before, so I don't lose any time getting into early entry for WWoHP.

Where are the kiosks, and can I get to them without having to pay to park in a Universal lot?

As an alternative, are they open earlier than the park so I could pick them up on the same day without having to wait in a line and miss the early entry time?

Thanks.

Another question about the kiosks. If you order an AP online for pick up at the kiosk, does it print out your AP or does it print out a voucher that you have to take to a ticket window?

if there are 2 in your party, you both can drive to UO and have the driver drop you off so you can go to the kiosk to pick up your tickets.

have the driver go down to walgreens, or another store and wait for you to call them to have them return to pick you up.

if you are staying onsite, you can use the kiosk there to pick up your tickets.

guest services outside the park, near the kiosks, are opened prior to park opening.

if you do not have another driver with you, you can pick up the tickets the day before you plan to visit the darkside but do have to pay for parking.

if you go after 6:00pm, the parking fee is $3.00
prior to that, $15.

Another option is to just drive to one of the onsite hotels. Have one person just wait in the circle out the front while you run in and use the kiosk in the lobby. You can ask someone for directions as soon as you enter the hotel. That way you don't have to walk all the way to the park entrance. Probably take you all of 5 minutes.

The kiosks will give you the actual tickets, not a voucher.

if the op is going during a very busy time, they might not be allowed to wait in the circle drive outside the hotel.
they will be directed to move to another area down the road from the entrance.

i saw this happen at rph last year and did see it at hrh before.

if they have cell phones, the op can call the driver of their car to find their location then, once they are done with the kiosk.

You get your real AP, with name on it and everything!

You won't have to take the AP to a ticket window but you have to activate it at the gate...not the hotel.
