Im not to sure who to ask, or where, so i'll start here. I'm a lifeguard at a resort and i'd like to pick up some shifts at Blizzard Beach (when it opens) or be deployed there until the end of my program. I tried to find some way to contact a leader/training coordinator on the hub and i didn't have any luck. I don't want to go to a leader at my resort just yet. Any ideas?

Also, i live in Patterson and id like to move to Vista. Will i be moving into an apartment with new CP's? Will i be filling a spot for someone that left? If that was the case i feel like theres a reason he moved out in the first place.

Thanks.

To pick up shifts, you have to search the Extra Hours Hotline under the Work tab on the hub. You can pick up lifegaurd shifts or shifts that don't need extra training. (I worked in costuming during my program, & picked up quick service shifts that didnt need training.) If you go under work requests, there's a way to submit general questions, you can try asking that way to work at Blizzard Beach, but talking to a leader at your resort is your best option. I didn't like working at Epcot characters during my first program, talked to my manager about it & got transferred to Fantasmic by the next schedule that came out.

Unless there's a group of new cp's moving in when your moving, you will probably be filling an empty spot in an apartment. I had two roommates move out during my second program. The first one wanted to move from Chatham to Patterson cuz her friends all lived there. The second one moved to Patterson about a month later, but I'm not really sure why.

For your roommate question, you would be with another group who has the same departure date as you. Spots open for a bunch of reasons, maybe they didn't get along with the other roommates, so that would be a chance you take that these people would be bad, but maybe they got termed or self termed and a spot opened, sometimes if people extend programs they move them out as well.
