Any chance I can pick up my tickets that early? I purchased buy 3 get 4 days tickets from Orbitz a few months ago for my trip in July. Our dates changed since I bought them, and I want to go a week earlier than it says on my orbitz receipt. I've read about people having success getting their tickets a day early, and I've also read a recent thread of someone who couldn't get theirs printed until the first date listed on their receipt. Has anyone, recently or in the past, had success picking up their Orbitz tickets several days outside of their window?

I will be trying this in a few weeks when I'm there. I'm going solo for the May 22nd 24-hour party, but will also be taking my son in June. I have an AP, so purchased my son's tickets thru Cheaptickets (same company as Orbitz). I'm going to try to see if I can get my son's ticket when I'm there solo so that we don't have to deal with it in June. I'll let you know how it goes.
The other option for you would be to try and call Orbitz to see if they can change the dates for you. It's worth a shot.

I picked mine up a day earlier and the ticket window had to issues. The tickets I was issued from Disney didn't have dates on it.

I'll be picking mine up late. We had to move our trip out a week after I bought the tickets. I don't anticipate any problems. I paid for tickets and I will get them, come hell or high water.

Any updates to this? Any success stories? We leave in two weeks, and I want to put my mind at ease!

I know I had no issues with getting mine a week after the dates shown on the Orbitz voucher. I got the impression that the date didn't matter at all to Disney.

The date only matters because Disney needs to be able to see the ticket in their system. When I went in March our Cheaptickets (same company as Orbitz from what I understand) voucher had not yet shown up in Disney's system so it took 3 CMs and 45 minutes for them to contact Cheaptickets to confirm our tickets. We bought the tickets about 2 weeks in advance of the trip. I also tried to pick up my son's ticket that day for our June trip, but they wouldn't let me. Since that didn't work, I was going to try to pick it up when I was there in May (which would have been 3 weeks before our June trip), but it was the 24hour celebration and I was completely focused on that and forgot to do it. We had absolutely no problems when we finally did exchange the voucher during our June trip. The CM totally knew what he was doing and was very efficient. We were there on the dates that were on the voucher though. To be honest, I think it may just depend on who you get at the ticket window. I think enough time has also passed that your tickets will be in their system so I can't see why it would be a problem. Good luck and hope you all have a wonderful time!

Also, in case this comes up...we bought our son's ticket before the price increase. When we added a day to the ticket, we lost the discount. They only gave us credit for what we paid for the ticket pre-increase, so I ended up paying the full price anyway! (I did keep my Ebates credit though...I don't think Disney has any way of tracking that).
