Picking up early from Emerald Club

Anyone have any experience picking up a car from National Emerald Club a few hours early? We changed our flights today from SW to United. Our original Emerald Club reservation was for 1:30pm. We are now getting in at 10:30am. So figuring it will be around 11:15am or so before we can head over to the Emerald Aisle. Since they don't really check reservations for Emerald Club and instead you just grab your car and walk to the exit, will they have any issues of me picking up about 2 hours early? I would normally change my reservation but I used some free days to book it. If I modify the reservation, the free days drop off and i can't add them back. Sounds like they may have had a time frame to use and it's past the usage date now.

We usually pick-up about 30 minutes early and haven’t had any issues… the time we scan out at the booth is what shows up on our rental agreement. What time is your return? I know when I looked at keeping the car for the afternoon for a later flight it was going to charge for another day (ex. pick-up was at 11am but wanted to drop off at 4pm).

I doubt you'll have an issue. Just know the clock on the rental starts as soon as they scan you out of the garage.

If they are short on inventory, picking up 2 hrs early could mean your car isn't yet available as the prior renter may not yet have returned the vehicle. Did you try to adjust the pickup time on your reservation? I know when travel resumed after covid, there were many threads on here about shortages of rental cars. Haven't rented recently to know if that situation has improved.

Thanks all. We will be picking up around 11:15am or so and then dropping off around 7:30am on our departure day. Just want to make sure that I am getting credit for my free two days.

Since this is for Emerald Club, in addition I have executive aisle status, not too worried about inventory since they hold those class of cars out of the normal rental inventory. Even during Covid, never had any issues with inventory with the EC and executive status.
