Okay so I'm going on my first trip to WDW and need a little help picking some PS times while in the park. Can you help me please!

First one : We want to do the Princess Breakfast in Epcot on the day they let resort guests in early. So say we get in the park at 8am and want to do some touring first is this a good idea and then go for a late breakfast and then continue touring? Or should we do the breakfast first thing and then start touring from there??

Second one: Want to do the Sci Fi lunch at MGM and again will do it on the day we can get into MGM early.. What time is the first lunch offered and about how long will it take for lunch (not eating fast and enjoying it). Want to be able to get alot of fun stuff in before lunch but then we are most likely going to try to make it over to AK for the 4pm Jamming Jungle Parade and tour a little bit of that park since we will have Extended Evening there..

Third one: Liberty Tree Tavern.. Is this one fun and worth it? Would like to be in the park so we can see the 9pm Disney Wishes show so how should I approach making PS for this and where is LTT in relations to getting a good spot for Wishes?

Fourth one: What is the earliest/latest the you can get breakfast ressies at 1900 Park Faire? Was trying to decide if we should go before going into a park or go into MK and then come back out for like the latest possible seating?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS! :earsgirl:

Hello! :) I'll try to help, where I can.

1 - We like to do the character meals as an early or late seating - generally, less crowded & you'll get better service & more possible time with the characters. On EMH mornings we frequently schedule a later breakfast - maybe around 10 am or so. This is great for saving some money, too - with such a large breakfast so late, you'll likely only need one more meal that day - either a late lunch/early dinner.

2 - Haven't eaten here - usually the 1st lunch seating is around 11:30 or noon. I don't think you'd have a problem finishing up in an hour or so & hopping to the AK - we can never spend an entire day at MGM anyways - always run out of things to do. :)

3 - Liberty Tree Tavern is great! This is one of our favorite dinners at WDW & a must do on all of our trips. Always had great food, good service & wonderful character interaction. We like to get the first PS here around 4 pm. You'll sometimes get more character interaction that way. Since this meal is so filling, we've never gotten hungry later when eating this early. :)

4 - Haven't had breakfast here - if you like to be up early, we will sometimes get an 8 am breakfast seating at a restaurant on the monorail (like Park Faire is) on a Non-EMH morning - when done with breakfast you can hop the monorail & be at the MK around opening at 9 am. You could also go the parks first - I think most restaurants stop serving breakfast by 10:30 - 11:30ish. Not sure on this restaurant.

HTH! :)

Hi, You'll have a great vacation.

First, haven't done this breakfast yet but if your in Epcot early there probably won't be much open before 9am so I would tell you to head straight for breakfast then tour the park.

Second - MGM, Sci-fi. I think the earliest lunch is around 11:30 but may not officially open until noon (some rest. open a bit earlier than others). I think I last had a 12:15. IMO, food wasn't good here but atmosphere is neat. I would stick with burgers, fries and milkshake as it is about the best thing on there menu.

Third - LTT is a must do. They have the best honey butter and dinner rolls. Not to mention the salad with strawberry vinargrette (sp?) dressing. We love to eat there as well.

Fourth - answer same as first, don't know time it opens but I would eat first then head into the park.

Thanks guys for your answers... I wasn't hoping for the best food at Sci Fi but figured the kids would think it was a hoot.. Also thought that maybe dh and I could split a burger or something like that if we weren't too hungry!!!!

Glad to hear good things about LTT.. We have never done a family style dining experience but all the food on it sounds really good!

Isn't that crazy strawberry vinagrette delicious? I thought that it sounded like such an odd flavor, but it is soooo good (and I usually hate vinagrette anything.)

LSUDis - you are so right. I usually don't like any sort of vinagrette either but can't get enough of it there. I really wish that I could buy that at a local grocery store but alas it is not meant to be.
