Well, the two weeks you have in your poll are both going to be crowded, with little to no real difference, so if you want to see the Christmas decorations, do the Thanksgiving week. Just know that not everything Christmas will be up and running until the day after Thanksgiving, but you've got that weekend to see/do those later things. There won't be an MVMCP during the week, but if that appeals to you, there may be one on one of the weekends.
If those were my only 2 options, I would vacation elsewhere. Spring Break is a mad house and I wouldn't go again during that time if you paid for my trip. As for Thanksgiving week, the crowds will be light through about Wednesday, then they are like Spring Break but with Christmas decorations.
Ummm...yeah. WDW is always crowded, doesn't matter when. You happened to pick two very busy weeks. So if crowds bother you, then you may want to stay away.
Personally, I don't think it's all that big of a deal. You want to see Christmas decorations in WDW, then definitely go Thanksgiving week. We'll be there. It's awesome!!!
We just got back from a 10 day Spring Break trip. It was certainly crowded, but manageable. We had a few days of pleasant warmth and a couple days where it felt too hot. If Thanksgiving crowds are comparable to the end of March, I think we'd really enjoy not only the decorations, but cooler temps.

The difference between your just back trip and the week you've chosen in 2018 is the 2018 week is the week before Easter; Easter is that Sunday. Easter is really late this year, so the spring break crowds have been all over the place. The last park of Thanksgiving week will definitely be more crowded than your just back week, but I'd still choose that one. Cooler temps, decorations, and some time on both the front and back end of your trip where crowds will be manageable.
