We've picked our dates....picked our tickets, picked our dining plan.....we can't pick a place to stay. We will be staying at one of the value resorts - 3 rooms. 6 Adults and 1 child. First time I've been in almost 40 years. Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated! We just can't decide!

Not sure if it is doable but we really enjoy Port Orleans Riverside (moderate resort). Great resort landscaping and pool and we really enjoyed the boat to Disney Springs. They've also upgraded in the last few years to queen beds in all rooms. With 6 adults/1 kid you could do 2 rooms at Port Orleans but again that may not be doable.

We talked about sharing rooms but for our sanity we decided we all need some personal space. We are there for 7 nights!

Another vote for Pop, and I would pay a little extra for a preferred room, which we found very convenient to be close to the front for the bus and food court, and especially for less walking at nt. when feet are tired!

Pop century is real nice resort for the value. Even though the line at the end of the night in the parks is always the longest at pop. Only downfall we found

I've stayed at All Star music twice and loved it. Or next trip is going to be at Pop. Just changing it up. I don't think you will go wrong with either of those.

We've stayed at Music and Movies as well as Pop. We prefer Pop as many others have said. Have you considered Art of Animation? That is also in the Value category and has standard rooms as well as suites... and boasts the largest pool on property!

Keep an eye on the prices at Caribbean Beach Resort. They sometimes have really good prices there that are not too much more than the Values. The rooms are a little bigger and you get queen beds instead of double beds. Also, some of the CBR rooms have a murphy bed that might be fun for the 1 child. :)

I've stayed at All Star Sports and enjoyed it. I ended up taking a walk around the other two values in that area while I was there too. They were both just as nice as Sports. If looking at the All Star resorts, perhaps take into consideration the interests of your travel companions. Do they like Sports? Movies? Music? Use that to help decide which value resort to stay in. If you have a group of people that really isn't into Music, you might want to avoid All Star Music. The theming is pretty big and in your face, so it might be better to get your group into a resort that has a theme that they have some interest in.

Have a fantastic trip!!

Thanks so much for your advise! My husband and I are going to stay at Orleans Riverside (we actually live in New Orleans) and we are putting the kids and grandson at Pop. We will have 2 cars with us so it will be easy to go between the 2 resorts.

Now we wait.....I am not good at the waiting part, haha!

Another vote for Pop Century. So many good reasons, but to me, the best reason is that there is one bus stop and dedicated buses. At the end of a long day, that is a very good thing!

I agree with most people here. Pop Century is really fun. It seems to be always the lowest volume of crowds rather than All Stars and the Art of Animation resort.
Art of animation is new and gorgeous but with a massive crowd it seems (your party) you guys would be lessed stressed at Pop. Plus you can always go for a short walk and visit Art of animation.
People are always right, keep an eye out for Carribean beach which generally drops their prices very closes to values.

Now there kids want AOA! I've told them all the positives on pop but they seem to only have eyes for mermaid beds :rotfl2::rotfl2:
