Picked Places - would love feedback

You definitely sound like you know what you're doing! Your plan sounds great! :)

A PP mentioned that she/he didn't care for SciFi, but my family and I loved it. It was very unique and such a nice break from the park on a hot day. We were there in August when the sun was broiling. SciFi is so cool and dark, it was soothing to eat there. I loved my cheeseburger and hot fudge sundae dessert. I choose the refreshing melon salad instead of fries, and it was a perfect meal.

Hope this trip is magical for you and yours. :wizard:

What about 'Ohanas for dinner? Your family will love it and its so easy considering you are staying at the Poly - our favorite!

I can make ADR's on Jan. 29th. Going will be me, husband, MIL and 3 kiddos - 6, 3 and 2

Here's my 'plan' - would love suggestions/feedback. (Our last trip was bad! I want this one to be better of course!)

Arrival Day: Wed. 4/29
Check in Poly around 3pm
Visit Downtown Disney
Eat at one of these:
Rainforest Caféwent in KC, Mo; food not so good. very loud. I didn't enjoy it.
Earl of Sandwichnever been, want to try
Wolfgang Puck ExpressLOVED IT! Ate at both locations on our last trip! We ate salads at one and pizza at the other. DS had pasta at one. If those suit your mood, definitely try it.
Ghirardelli for milkshakes!

Day 1: Thurs. 4/30
Animal Kingdom - morning to early afternoon
Lunch at Flame Tree never been
Back to Poly to relax and freshen up
Chef Mickey’s for dinnernever been

Day 2: Fri. 5/1
Magic Kingdom
Crystal Palace – breakfastI would do this if you could get into the park early. Otherwise, I agree with a PP that it conflicts with prime ride riding time. We did lunch. 11:20 ADR on an am EMH day. We got SO MUCH done in the morning, and we were ready for the buffet by that time. Checked in at 11:00, and the line formed behind me. We had very little wait. It was at the change over from breakfast so we actually got to see some characters twice. That plan worked so well for us, it was a pattern I repeated.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for lunch or dinnernever been
No evening plans

Day 3: Sat. 5/2
Hollywood Studios
Sci-Fi Dine in Theater - dinnerWe went for lunch. It was really fun! It is especially nice during the day as PP have said. You get a wonderful break from the heat. When we went, it was very quiet. Everyone was eating and watching and very little talking going on. It makes a wonderful break during the day. Our burgers and shakes were fantastic. I prefer larger meals earlier in the day, so that worked well for us.

Day 4: Sun. 5/3
O’Hana’s – breakfastnever been
Epcot for the day
Coral Reef – dinnernever been

Day 5: Mon. 5/4
Teppan Edo – Early lunch (Epcot – Japan)We went when this was the other name. It was very tasty. We all enjoyed our food and the entertainment. This was one of the few non-buffet restaurants on that trip and it made me realize how nice it was to just sit and be served and entertained MYSELF!
Free day – stay at Epcot, go to Magic Kingdom, hang out at resort?
1900 Park Fare – dinner (Grand Floridian)never been, but I have to say that if you DD really wants to see Cindy and the Prince, I would keep this. I've heard that the step-sisters and the step-mother are an act unto themselves. I've heard that the characters are just wonderful. It's the food that always goes back and forth in the reviews. Instead of thinking that as a buffet there will be a ton of wonderful food to enjoy, just hope to get a regular dinner plate out of it and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised if there is more there that you like. When it is all said and done, you will probably be happy you went because the characters really gave you want you wanted.

Day 6: Tues. 5/5
Free day
Whispering Canyon Café – dinner (Wilderness Lodge Resort)never been

Departure Day: Wed. 5/6
No plans!

Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful trip!

I hope you get what you want. If you can afford it and your daughter really likes Cinderella I would try Cinderella's Royal table. I hope your daughter gets to meet Ariel she is my favorie too!

I thought about the Royal Table but that's 2 meals (we have the dining plan) so I figured 1900 Park Fae should do!

I hope my dd can meet Ariel too!! She was so bummed because the Grotto was closed last trip
