Pick Up/ Drop off at parks?

Going to WDW in mid June with a 5 month pregnant wife and a 15 mth old toddler. My wife wants to rent a car to cut down on waiting in the heat for busses. One of the things was she was hoping she could just wait outside the park when we were leaving and have me get the car, is that possible? We are staying at BLT, so we will walk to MK, not sure about Epcot (poor design on having the hotel loop have to walk up and down the ramps to get to Epoct monorail at TTC) Please keep in mind that we will be leaving the parks around 12 for an afternoon nap and 7ish for the night, so way before parl closing or a busy time when people are leaving

Any other thoughts/ suggestions?

only thing I can add is on your walk back from MK remember to keep toddler awake so you will get a nap at the room unless you are lucky and can move yours and they stay asleep. I was never that lucky as soon as stroller stopped wide awake and no more nap

I was picked up once at EPCOT. It was a bit confusing - but he was told to follow "x color" line in the parking lot - I think that got him to the handicapped parking lot and I just waited at the front of it. It worked out.

Never tried it at HS or AK though.
