Pick Up / Drop Off area for MK?

Does anyone know if there is a pick up / drop off area at the main entrance to MK? Or is that only for buses?

There is one for MK, but it is at TTC.
You then must take a monorail or ferry to MK.

Disney buses only at the MK gates area.

(An alternative is to get dropped off/picked up at the Contemporary Resort parking lot.)

No gate.
Just strongly worded signage about Disney Buses Only.

Or, if the person doing the drop off is not going to the park, they can pull over just after the intersection of World Drive and the entrance road to the Contemporary. (Underneath the monorail track). That would put you right at the brick walkway to the MK as close as you can get, permissibly. The driver could then continue down World Drive a bit and turn around to leave. This would work for a quick drop-off, but wouldn't be a good place for a pickup unless the person being picked up were at the spot waiting for the car, as opposed to the other way around.

The person dropped off would also need to hop over the 3-4ft fence and hedges too. There's no "openings" except where the buses load.
