We're putting together our ADRs in anticipation of our Christmas trip. We're thinking of going with two Signatures this year!

We usually go to Narcoossee's every year for Christmas. We love it - it's near and dear to our heart.. but, we'd be open to changing it up. What would you choose from the three:

Narcoossee's
Yachtsman
Flying Fish

Should we try somewhere other than the three? I feel like that's three steakhouses. I'm open to other options!

Of those three, I would pick Narcoossee's and the Flying Fish. However, I also highly recommend Jiko at AKL. It is probably my personal #1 favorite with FF a close second.

I love Narcoossee's; it's our arrival night tradition and would never think of removing it. From your list I like all three; however you mentioned they are all like steakhouses, I would say only YSH is, the other two have a vast selection of seafood entree's. But if your not going to go to Narcoossee's I would make the same recommendation as the post above me and say FF and AP.

I would definitely go with Narcoossee's for one. You can't go wrong with the other two either, it's just a question of if you prefer steaks or seafood.

After looking through menus, I think we're leaning toward Flying Fish and Yachtsman - that way, we could enjoy a nice steak dinner and a nice seafood dinner. My sister is picky when it comes to spices, so while I pushed for Jiko, I couldn't sell it. We select signatures as a family, and then everyone chooses their own TS, so maybe I'll go with Sanaa!

Yachtsman from that list and Artist Point because it is great and the WL is too beautiful to miss at Christmas.

Have you considered Artist Point? Lots of space between the tables (which cannot be said for several other "signature" restaurants), quiet, and a varied menu of Pacific Northwest themed items. Nothing too "unfamiliar" for your sister. Try the Artist Point Berry Cobbler, it's fantastic!

I can't, personally, recommend Flying Fish. I found the restaurant to be too loud, the food preparation inconsistent, and the server we most recently had un-knowledgeable (He described the Jonah crab cake as "all lump crab" when, in fact, it's mostly small pieces of claw meat and some filler to hold it together, a MAJOR disappointment for a table full of crab eaters).

Narcoossee's is my favorite Disney signature and I would definitely recommend that as the #1 choice. I wouldn't consider it a "steak house", as it does have a lot of seafood on the menu.

I would pick Narcoossee's (my favorite restaurant at WDW) and Flying Fish (good food, but noisy). Of the three, I would only consider Yachtsman a "steakhouse" (good food, but it didn't "wow" me). The other two both have entree items that include steak (the filet mignon Narcoossee's is outstanding), but they other items that equally outstanding on their menu.

I know - we LOVE Narcoossee's but feel like we're missing out on other Disney restaurants! I'm not sure I can do without the almond crusted cheesecake!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot about Artist Point. We actually looked at that menu and I think it's in the running. I think we really wanna do Yachtsman. On our first trip, we wanted Yachtsman. We booked through a travel agent and somehow, she put us in Cape May rather than Yachtsman! Ever since then, we've always said "one year we're gonna go there"

IDK if anyone else has had this problem, but there's a serious lack of flights this year! I think it's due to both holidays falling on a weekend! Because of this, we're checking out on Jan. 3rd rather than the 1st or 2nd. We have 10 TS credits, so we're going to do two signatures.

Frankly, for me, it comes down to dessert. I have a serious sweet tooth. I'll always find something on the menu, but I need a really delicious dessert! I haven't had a bad steak at Disney!

Ohhhhhh - you might want to try the fresh Molten Lava Cake at Shula's :). So good that you have to order it at the time you order your entrée :).
Generally, ONE of these, split between two people, is more than sufficient :).
