Pick out a birthday dinner spot for me!

Gonna give y'all a chance to tell me what to do. We'll be at WDW on my birthday, and I'm gonna milk it for all its worth. It'll be me, DW, DD, and one of DD's sorority sisters (amazingly, she still enjoys hanging out with her folks.)

Here's the criteria ... it can't be V&A's, just because there will be four of us. Whew! Any resort restaurant is OK. We'll be in the MK on my birthday, but there really isn't a MK table service that would qualify as a birthday event kinda place.

We'll be on the DDP, but I don't have any qualms about buring two credits and adding apps to the meal.

I'll let this thread run a few days ... you folks can decide for me. TIA for your input, and let the gluttony begin!

I've decided to go to Kona for my birthday. My reasoning is that I can watch Wishes from the beach and then head up for dinner. I can also head there right from the parks and not have to change (without feeling out of place.) I also wanted something fun and not necessarily a big or fancy meal.

I'm sure plenty of people will recommend Cali Grill, Citricos, and Narcoosee's but to be honest, if you're going to do the 2 credits, I would head over to Jiko's. It would be my choice if I were spending more than just one day at Disney and had time to go back to the hotel and change before dinner... That and I'm in with Jiko

Le Cellier is nice. Pretty good food and a cozy atmosphere.

California Grill would be nice after a day at MK. End the evening with Wishes from your table.

I would say Cali Grill or Citrico's. I'm not a big fan of Narcoosee's, but you can get lobster there, which is not available in many places.

Away from the MK resorts--a BIG thumbs-up for Jiko!
