I know the Sea World in Ohio used to do this. I was wondering if they do it in Orlando. If so is it easy to find, and what is the cost? I have bought a necklace to have a pearl put in for Epcot, but now I am rethinking my plans and may skip Epcot all together.

I was planning on doing this at Epcot but we went to Sea World first and when I found out the price was similar I decided the experience (for my girls) would be more fun at SW. The diver dives down and grabs a bunch of oysters and the girls got to pick out one. Then it is taken to get opened, etc.

The cost was $15.95 or $15.99.

My oldest had twin pearls in hers.

My middle child had a blue tinged pearl which they said was the 2nd rarest..rarest is black.

My youngest had the biggest pearl out of the 3 girls.

It's fun to watch at the Japanese Pavilion at Epcot because the people that reach into the shallow pool and open the oysters make it into a little show, but it's even more fun to watch at Sea World because they actually dive into a huge tank to pick the oyster you desire.
