Pick a pearl setting

My dd's picked a pearl last time we were in Disney and I purchased cheap carriages off of ebay. The latch isn't staying locked? Anyone have an idea for a necklace the pearl can be set in so they can wear them? Any websites to find a locket or something to hold the pearl in?

I would love suggestions too! Each of my daughters did the pick a pearl last month at Disney, but now I don't know what to do with them. I like the carriage idea, how did you find it?

I have that carriage too, you can use needle nose pliers to pinch the top of it and make it tighter.

the latch on the carriage or the necklace? I thought the necklace was a little thin and when I asked if it contained lead the seller said she did not believe the necklace contained lead. She did say the carriage is copper coated with 14k white gold. So I didn't' want to take a chance and purchased a sterling silver necklace from another vendor. I do hope the carriage holds up well since I thought it was super cute. The girls are really young and I wanted something fun for them to do while at Disney. I do wish they would have provided me with two jewelry boxes vs just the one when I purchased it.

The store in Japan and a few other places, Downtown Disney and I think the Boardwalk, is where you purchase an oyster for apx 18.00 and inside is a pearl.

I got a pearl cage on Ebay for $5.95 shipped, it came with a pearl already in it and a chain. I was expecting just the cage so I was pleasantly surprised. We just took the pearl out and put ours in, it snaps shut well.
