Pick a Pearl Question

I think there is a Pick a Pearl at Disney Springs and now again at EPCOT. Can you buy the pendants at the Disney Springs location and take them to the Japan pavilion to do the actual pick a pearl experience and have them put in pendants you already bought? Someone wants to get a pendant to give to someone on their birthday, then do the experience a couple of days later when they're in EPCOT (which isn't their birthday).

If they are the kind of pendants that are basically interchangeable where you can put your own pearls in, then I don't see why not (but I don't have personal experience with this scenario). You don't have to buy any jewelry at Epcot when you do the experience. You can even buy jewelry on places like Etsy that will hold the pearls.

We bought the pendant we wanted on Etsy and just did the pearl at Epcot and put it in the pendant ourselves.

I don't remember ever watching anyone have their pearl put in a pendant there in the store. They usually just wrap it up and if you wanted to look at the jewelry options, they were in another space away from the tanks. Meaning, that part isn't part of the "show" that people are watching.

I still have my pearl. I never remembered to have it set until I read this post. I checked the safe and sure enough it’s still in there.
