Pick a Pair of Parks

Which pair of parks makes the most sense for parkhopping?
Going Aug 2727-Sept 2. Any advice about hopping is appreciated. Never hopped before and dont plan on hopping every day

Starting at any park and hopping later to Epcot for dining and evening fireworks can make sense.

Some like to end the day at DHS with Fantasmic! and/or Star Wars fireworks.

The easiest hop is Epcot <-> Hollywood Studios because you can use the International Gateway at the rear of Epcot and take the boat or walk the path to HS. If you are a fast walker, the path can be faster than the boats. I usually pair these parks up, though I hop a lot. I've been in Epcot, walked to HS and stayed through Fantasmic! then walked back to Epcot for Illuminations and evening EMH. The other easiest hop is using the Monorail between MK and Epcot. That's only like a 9 minute ride.

I wonder the same thing. In the past, I've done Disney springs after AK

When you think about it...it's the only park kinda on its own. Your suggestion sounds perfect after a day in AK.

I like starting off at Epcot and finishing at HS. I find Epcot to not be ridiculously crowded in the morning so I can always get most the rides done, and then I take a leisurely walk over to HS and by that time I find that park to not be super crowded either. Also if you stay until closing you can wait in line for SDD and it isn't that bad of a wait when everyone else is at Fantasmic or fireworks.

You're talking about opening weekend of Galaxy's Edge. More details are sure to come but unless your going to have access to that land (through a hard ticket event, tour, AP, etc) or decide you want to spend hours upon hours waiting to get in to GE OR deal with inflated wait times at dining locations and attractions around the park I would avoid Hollywood Studios. Because Epcot will catch most of the Hollywood Studios overflow (because of the proximity to HS) Id probably plan to skip that one too for your dates.

So, if you're talking about 8/27 or 8/28, try Epcot/HS. If not, skip them both and do MK/AK.

In my opinion, the ideal strategy is the ones that fits YOUR plan the best. Look around at the resorts nearby the park you want to visit and see if any of their dining or daytime activities interest you as well.

EPCOT and DHS; good pair because you can walk between them or boat.... soon you can gondola too.
EPCOT and MK; good pair because you can monorail between them
DHS and AK; good pair right now because you can do a lot in each park with just a half day... but SW:GE is gonna change that.

As Robo said, EPCOT is always a good member in a pair because it isn't as frantic, and there's lotsa good food choices.

Thanks, for your thoughts about DHS and Epcot. I was planning to do as much as I could at DHS on arrival day, 27th. Hopefully fewer people At that park the last days leading up to the GE.
