PI Interview for AK!

Did anyone apply to the Marine Mammals internship at the Seas, the Animal Behavior internship, or the Marine Biologist/ Aquarist internship! I am so nervous and I haven't heard anything!

It is getting kind of late, but it's not over until it's over! And there's always next spring... I know I'll be applying for AK internships then! Good luck!

I don't think how early you applied really determines whether or not you get hired, but I know next time around I'm going to have my cover letter/resume ready ahead of time and send it in at the first possible minute so I can at least get in the first round of interivews and not have to wait quite as long--other people here were contacted to fill out applications long before I was, which I think had to do with my late submission.

I've also heard that having showed interest in the past is helpful, so I hope that having additional experiences and education between now and next fall, and past interest will help me next time around!

What positions are you applying, it is probably different for each department. I got questions, "Why do you want to work for disney, where do you see yourself in 5 years from now, what does "integrity mean, list three ethical principles about yourself, how would your friends/co-worker/supervisor describe you, what is unique about you and what disney character you are most like?? These are a few I was asked, can't remember all of them, hope this helps and good luck!!! I'm pretty sure my friend "Brose244" will come on boards and add more to help you. Has anyone on here applied for the veterinary PIs? I want to do the pi in the vet hospital at DAK and I am pre-vet. I dont know if I should apply to do the program before my senior year, or to do it right after I graduate. Any advice?

Also, you were never notified on what the pay rate would be for any of the PIs? That sounds strange because even the CP tells you what your getting into during the interview.

Did ANYONE have a 2nd INTERVIEW for DAK PI? I didn't. Just one phone interview. I haven't read about any for DAK but I am reading them for other PIs....
