Pi Clubs To Be Reopened Soon?

I was told the DJs didn't fall under the same contract restrictions as the AC and CW performers, but a DJ would know better than I would.

As for the renting of the clubs, it does not affect their contract. They can be brought in to perform, but if the clubs were to reopen to the public, that's when the back pay comes in.

I went to the island and checked out the scene. There was a server inside mannequins used for ATS, the ticket system PI used. The fiber optic lines that went from Mannequins to the ticket booth have been cut and are clearly visible on the back side of mannequins. I peeked in 8-trax again and this time noticed the bathroom sign was on the floor. I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty sure after they removed it and I looked in, it was not still in the club. But I'm not 100% certain of that. There is a black box of some kind on the floor that was NOT there before as well as some kind of cleaning solution.

Something is happening. Idk if it's good or bad and of course we have no indication of what is going on with mannequins. The fiber optics being cut certainly leads to the belief that PI in its original form will never return. However, the idea of them being built up and run by a 3rd party, specifically mannequins and 8-trax, is a very real possibility.

I also took a peek inside CW. The door on the lower level has a weird brush covering and you can just brush it aside with your fingers and peek between the doors. Most of the decor inside has indeed been stripped and it appears they are using the place for storage of some stuff, although it might have just been props from back stage. What a shame

I'd love to see AC and CW back!
Last year was my first trip to WDW in years and years, and first time to PI, but I made to both locations 2x. Pretty depressed to know that just as I discovered them they were on their way out!

Bring them back!

I've spent more time than I care to admit on the island and all I can say is there is nothing to indicate they either are or aren't building the clubs or getting ready to destroy them. There are small changes indicating something is happening, but it's entirely too early to tell what it is. I'm personally going to let things ride for 2 weeks before I visit again. By then there ::should:: be some significant progress one way or the other I believe.
