Pi Beta Alpha -- Hand over the purple and no one will get hurt.

I have short day at work, but I have to go to the dentist this afternoon.:scared: Ugh. I will be out of the office tomorrow though. I'm working at our company golf tournament. I don't play or watch golf, but I volunteer to work at it because it gets me out of the office and I'm outside all day. Its usually fun though. What do you have going on today?
Ugh, the dentist. I HATE the way the toothpaste at the dentist taste. Gross gross gross. That's great you help out the tournament-- I'd do it to get out of the office too! :lmao:

I am not doing too much today. It's the last day of school for my students and Friday is the last day for me and I'm so excited!!!!:woohoo:
Rora, you're supposed to put a fire detector in the kitchen so the Sims won't die from fires! Everyone knows that! :rotfl:
:rolleyes1Oops........

:rotfl2:
The first Sims you played for no reason. They worked everyday and there really wasn't a point to it. The second one was better because they had days off, they grew up, got fat if they ate too much or didn't work out, and raised kids from babies, to toddlers, to kids, to teens. More detail went into it. The 2nd one is awesome so I'm sure the 3rd is even better.
Weren't there Aliens in the Sims 2?? I specifically remember some of my Sims being like green..? Or maybe I'm crazy? :cool2:
Ok...I feel like I'm missing out....I"ve never played Sims!!
You really should!!!!
that does sound fun...and very addicting!
I'm sure you could find Sims 1 and 2 pretty cheap on Amazon or even at Target now since 3 came out. You should play it at least once in your life!

My laptop came today!! Jackson is at home- sick and told me that it came! YAY!

It is! You should try it. I think they have versions of the older games you can download right to your computer.

Yes, there were!! There was a whole family of them. It was really weird.
That was very strange.

Let us know when you play 3! I can't wait to hear about it!!

Any plans for the rest of the day, girls?

I will! It won't be for awhile cause I have to get a computer that can handle it. With all the movie stuff Joe's put on his, I doubt it will run properly.

Not really. Waiting for the Sept hours to be announced while at work. And Wednesday nights I have my weekly date with Tango and Steve from GhostHunters. :rotfl:

You're probably right..

I love, love, LOVE GH! I like that they've been doing mini-marathons of it on Wednesdays from 7-12. I can watch it as soon as I get home from work til it's time for me to go to bed. :rotfl: Tango is my favorite. He's from Linden, NJ which is like 10-15 minutes from where I work. If he ever walked into my office for whatever reason, I'd bombard him with a million questions.

I saw a laptop from Dell that I liked, the Inspiron 15. It starts out at $349 but after upgrading the processor, memory, and hard drive it's about $525 with taxes and shipping included.

Ok Rora, does this make me a stalker? I totally looked up Dave Tango in our system to see if he was indeed a member of AAA and if there was any chance of him ever being in my office. Yup, he's a member alright. :rotfl2: I'll be on the lookout for my favorite GhostHunter!

Happy Monday Ladies! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine wasn't to bad. Our niece spent the night Friday. Spent most of the day Saturday at the pool. Didn't do much the rest of the weekend.

It was SUCH a good time. My seats were amazing. I took over a hundred pictures. I'm going to see them again on Saturday. Our seats aren't great but that's ok. I don't have to worry about taking pictures that way and can just enjoy the show!

That's so cool he's so close!! I think you need to find him! :lmao:

I just got the Inspiron!! Yeah, I paid about $600 with taxes, shipping, upgrades, etc. but I love it!!!

It's nice your niece spent the night and then you relaxed at the pool! Sometimes its nice not to have to do anything over the weekend.
I went to see New Kids this weekend!
:cool1: jealous!!

My favorite part is how you are going to see them again on Saturday!!:rotfl2: I agree about not having to worry about taking pictures-- actually it's probably a good idea to go to a concert 2x! 1st time to take pictures, stand in lines to meet them, buy shirts, etc and then the 2nd time, just listen and enjoy!!! Hmm.. a new concert strategy! :woohoo:

Sorry I've been MIA for awhile! Friday night DFiance surprised me and took me to Orlando. Apparently he got a big discount at the Gaylord Palms (has anyone seen this hotel while in orlando? If not, WOW! Do a google search!!) and we went there for the weekend!! We didn't do any WDW parks but we did go to Sea World for half of the day since we hadn't been, ever. It was fun- not nearly as fun as WDW but hey, what did I expect? I'm a Disney snob.:rolleyes1:laughing: The rollercoasters were fun though!!!

The rest of the time at the hotel we went to the multiple pools, explored the giant hotel and just relaxed! It was a very nice surprise. Now this coming week we leave Thursday for the 1st Wedding in the reactionary chain of wedding events for the 2009-2010 year . I'm excited but I must stop eating sweets! I'm not worried about fitting into my bridesmaid dress, but I'm worried about how I'll look compared to my cousins- they're both size 00 and in incredible shape!

Happy Wednesday!!!!

Hi Rora!

I haven't been to the Gaylord in Orlando, but I've been to the one in Nashville and the one in Grapevine, Tx. They are both awesome! That was so sweet of him to surprise you like that!!

And don't worry.....you're going to look gorgeous on your wedding day!!!

I really want to go to the other Gaylords! They are incredible! I was very pleased :rotfl:

 Thanks!!

Any plans for today?

Happy Thursday!!

I hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend! I'm so thankful it's summer now but I've been lazy and have done absolutely nothing!

Today I have to get some chores done :laundy: and then pick DFiance up from work because we are going to come corporate party for his work.. that should be interesting-- there's always lots of drunk old men with their trophy wives-- we always feel out of place :rotfl:.

No plans really for this weekend- just taking my grandma out to dinner for her birthday. Also, I've become ADDICTED to the HBO (or Showtime) show "The Tudors".. has anyone seen it? I'm obessed. But, maybe that's my love of history coming out. :rotfl2:

Next week is the first wedding and then the following week, it's back to school for me. I'm trying to get organized but never feel like doing anything! :scared:
I did find a cute, cheap apartment to rent for the 6 weeks I will be there and plan on going to Target one of these days to find cute decorative stuff!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Rora!

Ugh...my day started off wrong. Our electricty went off sometime last night (we had some crazy storms) so my alarm clock didn't go off. I woke up about the time I usually leave for work. I finally get out the door and traffic is a nightmare!!:scared1: It took me an hour and a half....it usually takes me around 45 minutes. Hopefully the rest of the day will be better. :headache:

No major plans this weekend.

Oh no! Ugh, it sucks to start a day out that way! I'm sure the rest of your day will be lots better! :grouphug:

I hate when the power goes out.
