They are Boston boys so my sister's plan is to walk on the ship in a Yankee jersey with Wahlberg's name on it. That may get her noticed but not for the right reasons! Joey McIntyre is a huge Sinatra fan so they can bond over that because my sister loves Frank Sinatra. This is her plan. I already told her if I walked up and saw her talking to Joey, I'd be speechless. That boy is just too cute. I think I'd be ok around the others. Well...maybe not Danny. He's gotten too freakin hot for his own good!

Well, honestly, my surgeon is cuter than I thought he'd be. He's actually pretty hot for an older guy. I didn't see any of the residents, they come in after surgery, so I'll give cuteness reports starting in the next couple of days depending on when I can get on.
YAY for the hot surgeon!!!

I met a very cute anesthesiologist. He was really nice too. But he's married. He watches hockey though!
Wow, Honu, it's great all these doctors are cute!! I think that should be necesssary in all medical procedures- the doctor must be HOT!

The nurses I've met here have been FABULOUS. They're so nice. I laughed with the lab people. I learned that when they mention the golf cart shuttle to TAKE IT WHEREVER IT GOES! Otherwise you'll be walking miles.

If anyone wants an update on Honu, I have it!!!! She called me about an hour ago!!!!!!!! That's right, she CALLED me!!! She's very alert and she said she's in zero pain! I couldn't believe it when my phone showed an incoming call from her! She spent quite a while in recovery but is in her room resting now. She said she'd call me again tomorrow if she's feeling up to it. But pain-free less than 24 hours post-op is a great sign, don't you ladies think?

I wasn't expecting that for at least a couple of days. That's awesome that she's already out of recovery and pain-free. Please continue to keep us posted.

My day is off to an...interesting start. My ex and I email each other on a weekly basis, just to keep in touch. We were together for awhile so we were a big part of each other's lives. It seemed silly not to stay friends, ya know? Well, he's been with this girl for about 4 years and I just found out this morning, via email, that they just got engaged. I'm happy for him but I'm...surprised to say the least. I cannot picture it. I'm glad he told me so I didn't find out through somebody else. I just feel a little weird about it. That's normal tho, right?

It's nice you keep in contact with your ex! It is SO normal for you to feel that way. I'm assuming you spent time with this guy and he was an important part of your life for awhile. In my opinion, everyone will always feel attached to every person they've dated/ kissed/ whatevered and they will always hold a little tiny space in your heart.. so natural to feel a little weird about it. It wouldn't be natural if you were upset...No worries Jenny!

Thanks Rora. He was my first real relationship. We were together for 3 years and have known each other for almost 9. We even talked about marriage and knew what song our first dance would be. I'm so happy for him because he really is a good guy but it's kind of crazy to realize he's getting married. I'm not upset at all it's just like a 'wow, did this really happen?' sort of a feeling, ya know?

I think that it's normal. After all, you guys were a couple at one time and you've stayed in touch with each other for so long. It'll probably take some time to get used to the idea, but I'm sure that you'll feel all right after a while.

Thanks! I'm so glad it's finally working, too. I originally had it set up where you had to use a password in order to see the quiz. Yesterday I decided to see what would happen if I made the quiz public. Lo and behold, the quiz link started working. Very, very strange. I didn't want everyone and their mother taking the quiz, so I made sure to put "for DIS board members" by the title. It seems to have worked because only a couple of people have taken the quiz so far (including myself). For the record, I'm still a little upset that the folks at quizilla never bothered to answer my emails. Oh, well. The main thing is you guys can finally take the quiz! I'm so happy because it took me a while to make it. Honu helped me create some of the questions and answers.
