Hi Ladies! I'm ba-ack!

The concert was AWESOME! They made a couple of changes to it that I wasn't crazy about (it was perfect the way it was!) but the change to Joey's solo. He sang 'I Remember When' and I lost it. I absolutely love that song. That man has got such a GREAT voice. It went by too quickly!! I'm hoping they have a summer tour because I'm dying to go again. My sis and I are seriously considering the cruise.

Oh and the Jabbawockeez opened. They. Were. Amazing. So glad I voted for them on America's Best Dance Crew.

I took some pictures but I wasn't up in their face close so they didn't turn out great. If anybody wants to see them, PM me your email address and I'll send them via snapfish.

The rest of the weekend was fun. I got to see my family on Sunday for Granny's birthday and then we went to Maggiano's last night. She really enjoyed it. We were stuffed!

Is it one of those safari-type places? I think that my family and I saw something like that when we visited San Antonio. We didn't get a chance to go there, though. Free-roaming ostriches sound really scary!!
Yes! And omg, they are scary!

My family and I happened to see the ostrich farm on our way back from a short road trip. We saw a lot of cars parked near it, so we decided to check it out, too. I've never seen an ostrich up close and I had no idea that they were such mean-looking animals. They look like they could bite your head off at any moment. It's a good thing that those ostriches couldn't read because there was an "ostrich meat sold here" sign by the little store on the ostrich farm.
Eww.. sounds kinda gross, . They are pretty mean..

NASA was fantastic. We saw two astronauts training in the neutral buoyancy pool. Saw a Saturn 5 rocket and a Redstone rocket. No cute astronauts in the cafeteria, but the food was really good. We went to the Old Mission Control. Way cool!!!!!!!!! We got to go into the audio/vibration chamber thing where they test everything to make sure it can withstand the noise and shaking of going into space. We saw the mock ups where they do all the training. Plus a bunch of other stuff. I'm loaded to the max with "Failure is not an option" stuff now. Woohoo! It was one of the best tours I've ever been on.

That sounds so cool!! NASA is the best.

Yes, cramps are AWFUL!!! I've discovered that ginger tea really helps me. If you can get some, you should definitely try it. Geez, I prescribe ginger tea for everything, don't I? Seriously, it really does work wonders. I hope that you feel better.

I watched the Karate Kid 2 the other day. It was one of the free movies on On Demand (it's a Comcast thing). I've never seen it before, but I really liked it. I actually liked it better than the first one. Have you ever seen it?

I've only ever seen the 1st one-- I will have to watch the 2nd. DFiance will be pleased

Pretty slow. I had a couple people here and there but spent most of the day catching up on the DIS and pricing out the NKOTB cruise. If I can convince my sister to pay for the cruisefare and I'll take care of airfare and spending money...I think we could swing this thing!

And then my DBf will disown me.

It's insanely expensive. It's only a 3 night cruise, Carnival at that, and the cheapeast rate is $1150 a person. So yeah...I wasn't even thinking of doing it but my sister is all gung ho about it now since the concert. She has a 'plan' to get noticed by Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre.

There's a full concert on the ship, meet and greets, a karaoke night with the boys, and DJ dance parties. Who knows if you'll actually glimpse them around the ship? If I saw one of them walk by in a bathing suit, I might die.

They are Boston boys so my sister's plan is to walk on the ship in a Yankee jersey with Wahlberg's name on it. That may get her noticed but not for the right reasons! Joey McIntyre is a huge Sinatra fan so they can bond over that because my sister loves Frank Sinatra. This is her plan. I already told her if I walked up and saw her talking to Joey, I'd be speechless. That boy is just too cute. I think I'd be ok around the others. Well...maybe not Danny. He's gotten too freakin hot for his own good!

Everybody thinks I'm nuts and are telling me that's way too much for a cruise and saying I could go on a 10 night for that price. But I keep saying 'NKOTB won't be on that.'

I had a good day today. Much better than yesterday, but also much busier. I had a lot to do even when I got home, so I was able to come on the DIS in the afternoon like I wanted to.

I met a very cute anesthesiologist. He was really nice too. But he's married. He watches hockey though!

The nurses I've met here have been FABULOUS. They're so nice. I laughed with the lab people. I learned that when they mention the golf cart shuttle to TAKE IT WHEREVER IT GOES! Otherwise you'll be walking miles.

Well, actually, the mean security lady did, but she didn't actually tell me I could ride in them. She was really weird about it. I didn't figure it out until I was halfway down the thing and by then, it was too late. She's the only mean person I've met so far.
