Evidently Disney World is holding a "Physics Day" for high school physics classes next week. Our local high school has a group going down next week. Does anyone know if Physics Day is an annual event at WDW (in which case there will be a lot of teenagers in the parks next week)? Or maybe Disney makes this program available whenever a physics class wants to come.

Oh my Goodness! They do Physics day in WDW?!?! I know up here we have physics day in Six Flags.

Usually physics day is something planned out beforehand. At least at Six Flags the park is closed to the public. It is only opened for HS physics students to come and do their experiments. I had to do experiments on the carousel, free fall, and roller coasters. After we were done, we could roam around the park and ride the rides with little wait. Truly it was some of the best fun ever.

I don't know how Disney has this planned out but I really wish I could be going. If any of your children have the opportunity to go, they should. It was a lot of fun doing the experiments and then having a day in the park. I don't of anyway to make physics better than by doing an experiment while riding Space Mountain!
