Sorry but I can't find anything about photopass on the forum. Can someone please tell me a bit more about it, what levels/rates there are, offers, options, best way to buy etc. It's just the 2 of us going so I think I will fine the photopass thing handy to get pictures of us both together.

The Photopass plus pre-order is cost effective if you are doing at least one character meal that is included and would buy the photo package or if you would buy at least 2 ride photos.

Thanks for the links, but I'm still confused, with the photopass+, do you get a cd or do I have to buy it seperate? Also with the cd, am I able to print the pictures myself or do I have to order them through Disney?

You get all the ride and meal pictures listed (assuming you eat at the restaurants and go on the rides of course!). You get a CD. You can print yourself.

I just ordered photo pass plus as we will want all the ride photos (I buy them every year!) and have several character meals booked. It worked out about £100 after exchange rate and is much cheaper than buying the ride pictures separately.

You get all the photos on a CD (you have to pay shipping of about $15) or you can download them free.

With the plus you will get the actual photos at the meals and digital copies of the ride photos.

i have just recieved my photopass plus , i was also confused

it arrives in a cd case with a cd in that has disneys own catalouge photos on , then it had 2 vouchers in the box one to take with you and collect the card that the photographers will load your pictures on then the other voucher had a code that u use when you return to order the cd with your photographs on

from what i understand you own the copyright to the cd and can then take it and print your photos from anywhere you choose

Yes and taped to the outside of the case is the voucher you need to redeem for your plus card.

Inside is a leaflet containing the code you need to order the CD after your trip.

If I order photo pass or photo pass plus, and I activate on our first day, will it expire before we return?

What's the the difference between photo pass and photo pass plus?
Other than the cost?

Also, once I pay the $149 what else is it going to cost me?

All I want really is a CD with the photo's on it.

no issue with photopass, no 14 days limit on that one
there will still be the "double 30 days limit". Once the first picture is taken you have 30 days to claim your photos ( = add your photopass card number to your photopass account), and once you've claimed your pictures, you have another 30 days to order them (single prints, CD, photobook, you name it) before they expire. (same 30 day rules apply to photopass+

photopass+ will need to be ordered at least 14 days before departure (for shipping time)
you will get a voucher (the little red paper taped on the DVD box)
when you go to a photopass kiosk (parks or DTD) tell the CM that you need more time, and you'd like to have the PP+ extended. The CM might request to see a "check out date" proof (or not).
PP+ will be extended at no cost if you ask BEFORE the CM punches the "date holes" on the card.

photopass+ will get you all of photopass perks
PLUS
every ride photo (participating ride) you'll need to go to the ride's shop and show your card to the CM and give the picture's number, the CM will add it to your photopass account (no limitation on the amount of ride pictures you can get)
participating restaurants will have the "pre-meal" picture added to your photopass, and at some you will receive the actual prints.

Also, once I pay the $149 what else is it going to cost me?

if you have less than 700 pics in your photopass account, you can download them all at no charge
if you require the CD you'll pay $15 for shipping

you can preorder the regular photopass (CD only) but you won't get dining and ride photos
PP+ will get you the CD, ride and dining photos
