Is tehre anyway to turn a black and white jpeg image to a specific pantone coler? Can anybody walk me through this if it can be done?

Thanks!

Liz

If you go into "Image" then "Adjustments" then "Selective Color" you can click the list of colors to "neutrals" and hten you can shift them to be any of those colors listed (Cyan, Magenta or Yellow) as well as mix and match them to get any level in between :) It will make your pic all tones of that color

Not working.....am I missing a step somehow? Argh!!!
Help!!!!

hmmm...

that is odd... do you have a pic that I can play with?

I found a black and white shot and tested it so it worked for me

did you change it to CMYK first?

Another way is to go under Image to Adjustments and select Hue/Saturation (make sure you have the color you want selected in the Foreground color box). Check the 'Colorize' box then use the sliders to fine tune the image (usually you need to slide the saturation and lightness up some and the hue down some.

I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for the help! Elaine took care of it for me! I am going to have to play with this sometime!!! I think I am going to need to learn this sooner rather than later!
