I have searched high and low for a class specifically for Photoshop Elements 4. The offerings are all for Photoshop C2. Has anyone taken a C2 class and been able to apply the information to PE4? Should I purchase a book instead? Typically I can use a manual or online tutorial to figure things out, but Photoshop is throwing me for a loop.

Any suggestions on how to learn this program? I need some help!

I have never used any of the "Elements" versions of photoshop, but I do feel that my photoshop skills(as limited as they are) would translate very easily over to Elements 4.0

But taking a class may require doing some work at home, not having the same exact version would not really be helpfull to a photoshop newb.

This is what I would do.

Download a demo trial of PS CS2 from Adobe.com. There's nothing locked or hidden in it, it's a fulling working version of the software. Then take your course, or work your way thru a book like "The CS2 Bible" during your 30 day trial of the software. Then take that knowledge and apply it to PSE4.

Thanks for the link, Mikeeee! Looks like a very interesting book. :thumbsup2
