Hi all! I recently returned from our Roaming the Rockies trip and I was just curious how long it took for the photos the guides took to be uploaded to the website. I'm so excited to see them!

I'm sure it's different for every trip, but just looking for a general time line.

Thanks!

Ours were uploaded in a week's time. We did the Costa Rica trip last August. :)

Ours took about a week or so. We were on the Southwest Splendor. How did you like your trip?

We LOVED it! Such a great experience! The Canadian Rockies are one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

I agree! While Glacier National Park is rugged beauty, Lake Louise is spectacular. I see that ABD up graded the hotels since our trip and would have loved to stay where your group had stayed.

The Rockies trip is still on my "to do" list! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

How *were* the hotels? I've heard they are an upgrade, but nicer in the public spaces than the rooms?

Sayhello

We stayed at the Glacier Park Lodge, The Emerald Lake Lodge and the Fairmont Banff Springs. I know next year they have replaced the Emerald Lake Lodge for the Fairmont Lake Louise.

We thought all 3 of the hotels were good, but especially loved the Fairmont. In my opinion, the Glacier Park Lodge pushes the limit of being "Disney" but there aren't many options in the area. The Fairmont Banff may be my new favorite hotel!

I agree that the Glacier Park Lodge is "rustic" but one look off the back deck and what does it matter what the room looks like. We have stayed in a number of the hotels in Canada that were built by the Canadian Railway systems in their day aimed at increasing tourism and agree that there is something "Grand" about those hotels that capture a bye-gone era. We stayed downtown Banff in a hotel which was nothing as majestic. Didn't you love the hot spring in Banff dressing up in those old fashion swim suits? We had a great time also and thanks for shaking those memories. Excuse me now while I hunt for that picture album.:)
