I have seen some really great photos here on the disboards of people on the rides . I am certain these people know where the cameras are. We actually got a decent one of our family on Dinosaur, but I would love some more. Who knows where all of the cameras are on the rides that take photos ?? :mickeyjum:

Splash Mountain is when you are going down the big drop. Test Track if I remember correctly is when you think you are going to run into the wall? Someone will correct me if I am wrong.
I haven't been on the new Space Mountain yet...
Rock n Roller Coaster is right when you take off really fast at the beginning.

I can't think of anymore off of the top of my head right now...

And Dinosaur is when the big dino jumps out at you. Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

Expedition Everest is down the big drop, on the right side of the train.
I am not sure about ToT, I never know when its coming lol

ToT is the topmost opening -- I think there are two sets of doors that open but that one is the highest and you always sit there for just a tiny bit longer -- you can look up and see all the cameras -- I usually wave! Just there with DGS15 and he was doing silly poses for the ride photos -- he acted like he was sleeping on R&RC! The CM selling the picture told him she was sorry he found the ride so boring. He was having fun with it.

The new ones at Space Mountain are kinda awkwardly placed IMHO, but they're after you exit the blue tunnel at the beginning and before you begin to climb up the main lift (where you go under the astronauts space walking and past the mission control booths on the side).

The camera catches you kinda at an angle and sometimes even cuts off the last person in the second car, but it's still an improvement over no photo like it used to be :)

For the picture on Test Track, check out this video and watch for the bright flash at 2:53.

You might not notice the flash as much, because it happens just as they open the doors to the outside.

We always pose for his one. The person in the drivers seat pretends to hold a steering wheel and the passengers hold up their hands and look scared!:car:

On Rn'RC, they take the picture during the launch.
Here's a video from the queue and as the car takes off, you will see a bright flash-flash-flash-flash-flash. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP9VDzB5HQs&feature=related
That's the camera. Try to keep your eyes open!
It's not as easy as it sounds! :woohoo:

On EE the picture is taken at approx. 2:34.

On Splash Mountain, stop the video at :13 and you will see the lights and cameras in the rocks as you start to drop.

On Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin the photos are taken towards the end and it's obvious because you can see the flahses going off.

When you ride something a lot, you learn where the cameras are because you start to notice the flashes when the ride isn't new to you.

On Splash Mountain, the camera is right when you go over the hill for the big drop. I thought it was on the right side for some reason last time and posed that way, but it turns out it's on the left - so my photo is me looking away from the camera. LOL.

I hate the location of the Space Mountain photos - it's at a slow point towards the beginning, so you don't get the funny faces like on the other rides!

I would love it if some of you would share your pictures !! That would be fun to see !! :3dglasses

is it still just TT that is hooked into Photopass or did they set uo the new Space Mtn cameras to go on Photopass too?

I read on another thread that Space Mountain photos can be added to photopass but it requires a purchase of the photo first.

I so love the RnR pictures. It takes 10 years off my face - I've dubbed it the Aerosmith Face Lift :lmao:
