Groosch!
Mrs. G & I had the chance to cruise thur the newest addition in Innoventions located in Future World at Epcot. It was preedey neat teu!
The exhibition presented by Underwritters Lab is designed to give guests an insight as to the deepth of research that UL goes thur to certify their tested products...
The exhibit is broken up into a number of 'test areas'...below are two photos of the Shatter Test...in which interactively guests can pull on a rope to swing a sledge hammer and cause it to fall against a TV screen...
Here is the door test...where guests can, by stomping their feet on the mats under their feet, activate the doors up above to test hinges, doors, crash bars etc...
In the torture lab....enclosed experiments can be run by the guest....
And as with all things Disney...the Themeing is carried out thur-out the exhibit area...
This exhibit is very interactive...great for kids (of all ages
) the LED displays show how many times guests have 'tested' the products....there are also switches, buttons and levers around the place for guest testing. While it maynot carry the 'thrill' of Test Track...it's a great place to spend some time looking around!
