We are trying to decide what deluxe resort would have the best sofa bed that means we need to see pictures of the beds OPENED UP to try and figure out how they sleep, ie how bumpy the armrests are, how long the bed is, how wide and how comfy soft!

We are willing to consider any deluxe resort that will have 2 beds and a sofa bed.

We are a friendly family, but we do not share beds- we have kickers :)

I don't have any photos, but I am a 5'4 adult woman, and I recently slept on the "day bed" at the Yacht Club. It was perfectly comfortable and long enough for me. I would sleep on it again without hesitation. I assume the day bed at the Beach Club is similar. Good luck!

Understand about it being a single person bed and know it folds over, not pulls out. We are bigger people, everybody 5'8 or better. Most concerned about bumping head on uncomfortable arm rests

Here's a BC daybed from our October stay:

Here is the BC/YC Daybed post from the FAQ thread.

@ pixarmom- I don't know why I haven't added your daybed picture to the post. I love it! I think that at the time, I had too many pictures to add another, but I have since split up the Frequently Asked ? section into two posts so I have room now. :goodvibes

Will my room have a daybed?

Some rooms at the Beach and Yacht Club have daybeds. You may request a room with a daybed, but it is not guaranteed. You may also request a rollaway cot to your room when you arrive. This is provided free of charge and is subject to availability.

There are two types of daybeds - one that fits a normal sized adult and the other that is best suited for a small teenager or a child. There is no way of knowing at the front desk which type of daybed is in what rooms. It's totally luck of the draw and the CM can't tell you which is in your room if you get a room with a daybed.

Daybeds

Some rooms have daybeds, which may be requested when you make your reservation, but are not guaranteed. Families of 5 (over the age of 3) are given priority access to the rooms with a daybed.

You may also request a rollaway cot to your room when you arrive. This is provided free of charge and is subject to availability.

Pittpantherfan, heatherbelle, sgtgoofy119, cburek and jcondrad have provided these pictures of daybeds and crib.

Here are a couple of pictures of the rollaway cot- These are provided upon request, free of charge, based on availability. Thanks for the photo, Feckless!

These were exactly what we were looking for and the info on availablity was most helpful! We will be five so am thinking that we may just bite the bullet and book 2 rooms.

We'll just have to rob a bank :rotfl2:

I have heard, that if I could just get a relative to start working for Disney, there would be potential for discounts.

Search for the resorts FAQ next time. I stay deluxe with my husband and kids and couldnt imagine more than us adults.
