I think we paid about $115/nite in mid-October. Cheapest rate (for us) was to book through the AAA website, I even had a travel agent friend try to get a better rate and she couldn't.
Very easy drive to Disney ... about 10 min. in the mornings via 535.
Lots of shopping and other restaurants around, we ate at Pizzaria Uno and Applebees and even ended up at the SuperTarget several times. Don't ask about that
but it had nothing to do with the hotel.
There's a large breakfast buffet in the mornings, mostly cold items but you could toast bread, pancakes or waffles. There was a record heat wave during our trip so we didn't want a huge heavy breakfast anyway.
Our room was a "kids suite." DS7.5 and DD turning 10 on the trip both liked it, but said the beds weren't quite as comfortable as regular beds. It was still very nice that they had their own little area (pictured) and DH and I had a good king bed and our own TV. The suite includes a small fridge and microwave - nice for snacks.
It was perfect for our size family and our age kids. Younger kids might have trouble with the bunks, older kids might not fit in them.
There is another Country Inn in Lake Buena Vista ... I'm not sure if they have the kids suites. My kids saw the pics online and really wanted the pirate-y themed area.
