Pretty much every disney resort has a photo thread. I REALLY want to stay on-site but am beginning to think that off-site works best for my family. I've seen some lovely condos... can you post photos of places you've stayed and tell me a bit about them? The pros/cons? Thanks!

Thank you so much spiceycat! I really really like the hgvc-sw resort... where exactly is that?

across from Sea World - directly across the street.

It is around 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending upon which way you go. this is not in traffic - in traffic on I4 you go at a snail pace. so it would be 45 minutes to go the few miles to the DD exit.

Of course almost every hotels own site has photos to look at. I actually don't have any on disk that I can upload. Though I love to look, so if anyone wants to share :) .

I noticed most sites have several photos tho I feel you get more of a "real" feel of what you might get from "real" photos.. for example, while the one condo spiceycat posted was LOVELY I'm pretty sure their site didn't show that their view would be of what I think is a construction site?

If you go to www.tripadvisor.com and then type in the name of the resort you are interested in, you will be able to view candid photos of numerous Orlando area resorts.

I just posted some on the review board for palomino suites. great place for a family. didn't notice the size of the pool though...too chilly last week!

We stayed at the Vistana resort in '04 - outstanding!

Tripadvisor has photos from people who have stayed at the various hotels. You could check them out!

Thank yoU! I will check out trip advisor...

Spiceycat your help through this has been invaluable:) I can't thank you enough.... I'll probably be contacting you for more info.

Silly me I became quite the "on site" expert through research and 2 stays... off site.. I'm a bit dumb.
