Photos of Diversions and Cove Cafe after Magic's Dry Dock

Thanks for the pictures! DH has already picked his 'spot' in the Cove Cafe!

We love the idea of the coffee bar. Can't wait to see it for ourselves in just 11 months!

Up Beat is the shop between Rockin Bar D and now Diversions that sells liquor, perfume, etc.

That makes sense, thanks. Funny, I never knew that place had a name....

Posting those pictures is cruel and unusual punishment!;)

I was excited before, now....I'M GOING CRAZY!!!!!!! :yo-yo:

But thanks anyway. I would love to see the pictures of the new teen area if anyone takes some. My DS(17) and his friend are curious to see how different their area will be from Common Grounds.

Not to bring up a touchy subject, but does anyone know the smoking situations in these new places?

:( I have to agree with the 3 circles and others who feel that the
"Entertainment Company" is adding everything but...more "Live Entertainment".
In a household of 3 kids a spouse & myself there are: 3 computers, a laptop, 3 video game stations, 2 VCR's, 1 DVD, a Karaoke Machine, 3 portable TV's, a 36" & big screen TV.
It's hard enough here at home to keep my family from being glued to these devices/vices. Between the office, school & home work plus using them to entertain visiting guests & neighbors. It's enough to give you a migrane :headache:
The last thing I want is to go on a cruise or to a resort with my family and get more "canned" entertainment.:faint: Lately it seems that no matter where we go locally or out of town entertainment has become a lipsync karaoke computer generated show. It seems no one can play an instrument or sing without some type of artificial background. Remember when a Solo Pianist or Duo with a Guitar Player stopped to clap along? There wasn't ten instruments still playing. Not only are we paying for this individually & monetarily, but also as a nation. (Like our education system) our ranking in music arts competition is low.
Children love & need to witness live performances. It makes their vacation much more memorable. With the chance to speak to a performer who may motivate them, not just in their career, but relaying the constant studies and drive that makes a person accomplish their goal. All this pre-recorded stuff on ships/resorts is cheap & lazy. As for the Cove Cafe comment. . .Ooh yeah, nice TV.:crazy2:

If the Coven Cafe has internet stations, does that mean the INternet Cafe is no longer on deck 3? What is being put there in place of where the Internet Cafe was?

I think Common Grounds had internet stations in there before for the teens to use. I'm sure the Internet Cafe is still on deck 3. Now we will just have more internet stations to use!!!

I agree with three circles and musicalmousecal, seems like it is one less live entertainment opportunity, something that was so special for my kids. (Even though Fidelio did not do a thing for me, a Jellyroll's fanatic.) Oh man, wouldn't Adventurer's Club have been phenomenal. Now there is one fun place and one really talented group of people!

So is this another opportunity to sell stuff, too? How much does a latte cost? Bet it is at least $3 plus an auto 15% gratuity.

Was hoping one of these places would be a nice hang-out for the young adult set.

(Feeling grouchy today.)

Well, we can always write in our suggestions on the comment cards. Or, it we're really ambitious, we could write or call DCL and make the suggestion.

Internet was in both places. Sorry we did not spent any time in the cove. I did see coffee glasses from the place with the logo.
