Well we're back from the most amazing trip to Kenya and Tanzania. We saw some of the most awesome sights and the safari far surpassed my expectations. There were times we felt we were living inside the tv documentaries you watch. The quantity and variety of the animals we saw was wonderful. We went to the Ngorongoro Crater, The Serengeti , Tarangerie and Tsavo. As promised here are a few of the many photos (over 1000  and video) we took.

I believe this MUST have been the inspiration for the collapsing wooden bridge on Kilimanjaro Safari in Animal Kingom however this is the real thing in the Serengeti

Fantastic photo's. Looks like you had a fantastic time with out Mickey and Minnie:goodvibes

Those pictures are fantastic Isabel :lovestruc:lovestruc

Did your DS get his GCSE results today or am I mistaken :confused3

Stunning pictures, thank you. I'm glad you had such a great time. I've been lucky enough to have done a few safaris over the years in South Africa and nothing compares to seeing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Driving for hours on an early morning safari then stumbling upon a heard of wild elephants is amazing and somehow seems so much more special than when you see them in captivity doesn't it?

I expect your sons loved it didn't they? It's something that I want to do for my daughters before they leave home and real life takes over for them - bills, mortgages etc etc

Thanks for sharing those.
