We are taking a big family trip in October. My plan is to limit my souvies to only pictures...ride pics, pics on Photopass at park entrances, etc. I have been reading the Cheapskate's Guide and they have mentioned two places I didn't know about in MK (haven't read past that section yet)...one in Toontown and the other in the Main St. Athletic shop. Can you guys give me a list of favorite picture places? Not places for snapshots but with silly backgrounds etc. We really enjoyed visiting Studio M a few years ago...always a nice photo and a nice way to spend quiet time with Mickey as it was NEVER busy. I was sad to see it go.

We are also going to one of the MNSSHP. Do we really get a photo for EACH ticket holder or did I read that wrong? Is it only adults?

When we were there in January (this year) Epcot was wonderful for pictures!
On the maps they had icons for where the characters would (I remember at MGM it had some of the times too, but I don't think Epcot did), anyway the kids had a great time and got to see all their favorites and get their autographs and pictures taken with them and most of the places were always quiet spots in the back of the respective country (except for Snow White who was on the main path in the World Showcase).

Toontown had two places (that I remember)to meet and greet the characters, one with the princeses and one with Mickey and friends. We got there at the opening of toontown for the day and the characters came to open the "gate" and each took a kid or two and escorted them back to their place, ours was with Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora... this was their most memorable part of our trip!

In the MK, there's a shop in Fantasyland that sells hats. Go in, try 'em on, and take some funny pictures.

Nothing says "Disney" better than a loved one being photographed wearing a hat with droopy Goofy ears :teeth:

Yes, but they are all of the same pose.

That's fine...I was just wondering if only DH and I would get one or if each of the kids would have one to keep also.

Thanks for the ideas. We love to have photos with the characters and Photopass is a great idea for us. We love just handing the card over and letting them scan the pictures onto it. McDisney, that's on our list of things to try...opening Toontown. Greg, I love that idea!

What about areas with bluescreen backgrounds? I've read about a few but want to make sure they're still there and are worth it!
