Can anybody give me a guide on how much money i will need for the photos and dvd at discovery cove? I have heard that there are different packages but i am struggling to find out. As it will be our last full day i want to make sure we have kept enough spending money back for them.

By the way - leaving 6 weeks today!

I know the DVD costs around $70, photos range, a good guide line would be how much you would pay at Disney.

Prices are on this site

We have been twice in last 10 months, First time we all did Dolphin swim. I was not impressed with quality of their photographs, If they took less photos and thought about what they are taking they would improve they quality, We bought 1 pic as a momento.
This year I watched from the rocks and took my own photos of DW & DS with Dolphins, I got all the shots of Dolphin interaction plus very good ones of them leaping in the air. Used a 80-200mm on my Digi SLR quality far superior to DC photopraphy.
I filled in a comment/complaint form telling them at the prices they charge I expected better.
Enjoy your day at DC we will probably do again next August its a fantastic place. Personally I prefer Fish lagoon and bird aviary to Dolphins.

Thanks Wayneg that was really useful to know - i guess as there is only me and DH and we don't have a really high spec camera of our own will buy their photos - but know i know which package to choose before i go, hopefully i won't get caught up in all the excitment and buy loads (which is wot i normally do ) :thumbsup2

we bought the cd with 5 photos on,it worked out cheaper than buying seperate prints and you can make as many copies as you want.
I think if this is a once in a lifetime experience then it is worth shelling out a bit extra for the memories.

We also bought the photo cd and video, I'm sorry I dont remember the cost, I have to be honest I am the most unphotogenic person around, and these are probably the nicest photos we have ever had taken. They were very natural as I think you tend to forget the photographer is there ...
