Photopass

I noticed this is $150, having read about it on the website im still not sure if this is worth it could anyone who has done this advise or recommend?

We used it last October and didn't really utilise it as much as we could have.

We got most ride photos and the full printed pictures at the character meals but only had maybe 100 pictures on it.
Previous years we've used it we've had over 200 but last year our main problem was that DD2 was too scared of the characters and the 'human' ones too, that we didn't get many with her older DD or on her own which is what I wanted.
I also thought that the photographers this time were in a hurry, previously they would take time with you and make sure the shot looked right before taking the picture and do other poses. You end up with about 5 of the same picture and hope that one of them is decent. I suppose I could have been more vocal and asked for different shots.
We did however encounter a lovely photographer outside AK one day on our way home and he shot some lovely pictures of my eldest DD.

Plus the package came with another disc full of Disney pictures which are quite nice.

Would I get it again? Not sure. Depends on price, yes we saved loads on the dining and ride photos so maybe we will and hope the youngest is into the characters next time!

This would have been with the old PP+ it is now memory maker.

The main difference is that it is all digital and you have to download the photos. You get no physical products included.

We always get a photopass pre-order. We used to get just the CD, then we got PP+ and now we will get memory maker. Over a 10 day plus stay we usually get enough good photos to make it worth it

thanks for replies. does it allow you to get all the ride photos you want over the duration of your holiday?

and do you just approach the photographer for the other shots and ask them to take pics of you?

Yes' memory maker includes as many ride photos as you can get. For other shots just get the photographers to take your photos.

ok thanks. I think I saw ride photos were $20 so if we want 8 or more we're better off getting this memory maker thing then I guess

Yes, I'd say so. You can also get *some* character breakfast photos on there now too if you're doing any of those. Don't forget they're about in the Disney water parks too if you're heading there. Quite nice if you don't have a waterproof camera
