Hi all

Our first Disney day will be at Typhoon Lagoon. Do you get issued with a photopass card there automatically? Or do you have to ask for one? (on that note, any idea where they take photos in TL?)

If we're able to get a card on that day, should we bring it with us to our second Disney day (Epcot/AK)? Does the same card work over multiple parks?

Thanks :goodvibes:

The first PP photographer you see can give you the card after they take your photo. At the waterparks, I believe they still give out small cards on a wristband which are great (you can also get these at the Fairies in Toontown). Then just hand the same card to any other PP photographer that takes your picture.

You can use that same card all week, or you can use multiple cards (you can always get another one from a photographer). So if your party wants to split up or your forget the card in the room one day, it doesn't matter - you can tie them all together after your trip on the Photopass site, or any of the camera / photo stores in the park.

In either case, make sure to write down or take a digital photo of the back of the card that captures the number on it. That way, if you lose it, you will still have the number and be able to retrieve your photos.

Last July, there were tons of photographers all over the water parks. We have a series from the TL wavepool. Wave starting, wave approaching, WIPEOUT. You can't even see my 8 year old in the final picture! Photographers at the end of the family slides, Crush-n-Gusher, in the Bizzard Beach iceberg area, etc. Some of the photographers found it easier (quicker) to just give us an extra wristband card than scan the cards we already had, so we ended up with 7-8 wristcards. But you can log them all in when you get home, or even have them combined at any photopass location (there was one at the Beach Club which was very convenient for us).

And as a PP stated, you can use these in other parks, or get a new one if you forget it. The wrist band ones are very convenient!

We love the waterpark photopass. The wristband is so much easier to have pictures taken.

Don't wait to have your picture taken (unless there's a line of course), gather your family and ask them to take it.
