Photopass with AP question?

DH and I are considering purchasing AP's for our family this Christmas. Do we need to purchase a Photopass for an additional $99 per pass or can we purchase this option for one pass only as we do the existing memory maker product? One of our kids is old enough to go to parks independently without us now.

Only one. I have it on mine and when I called Disney to upgrade DD's ticket to a pass, the CM even mentioned that since I have it on mine, I wouldn't need it on hers. I have another older DD, who traveled with us last week, did not have pass or tickets (didn't do any parks), but she was still able to scan her band at Photopass studio at Disney Springs and the pictures are in my account
